Established in Melbourne in 1993, Newmarket Music is now one of Australia’s leading independent Jazz Labels. Over the years the Newmarket Music catalogue has built a strong and loyal following from the jazz community and jazz fans alike, along with a catalogue that has enjoyed numerous ARIA award nominations by the Australian Record Industry Association. Although Newmarket is renowned for their Jazz releases, the catalogue also includes a diversity of genres, with many releases fitting into World, Blues and Folk categories.
Newmarket Music has supported, released and distributed many fine Australian recordings and continues to seek unique and original recordings for distribution in Australia.
